New Year's Resolutions. Most make them, few manage to keep them. It is not because we do not want to change things, it is not because of the inability to stick with something. The problem most poeple have with sticking with (and keeping!) New Year's Resolutions, is the fact that we tend to lose sight of what is important, and we do not allow ourselves room to "mess up".
Too many people approach New Year's Resolutions with an "all or nothing" attitude. This approach is the quickest way to failure. It is a good idea to approach your New Year's Resolutions with the idea that progress is the way to meet your goals, and do not think you have to force complete change in yourself, your job, your relationships or your life.
